As a result of the conducted studies, it was found that the amount of diffused tannins in the 2% agar-agar gel from the dental gel of medicinal sage prepared on the basis of Na-KMC is 10-15% greater than that of the gel prepared on the basis of MC. It was also noted that samples of the dental gel based on Na-CMC, diffused in a 5% gelatin gel, are 25-30% larger than those from the MC-based gel. From this it can be concluded that in the studies of the bioavailability of hydrogels in in vitro experiments by the method of direct diffusion in the accuracy of the pattern, by the formation of color and by the area of diffusion, it was more expedient to use 5% gelatin gel
