Bu çalışmada, Bursa ve yöresinde yetiştirilen Bezostaya buğday çeşidine ilişkin bitki-iklim modellemesi ile verim tahmini, DSSAT V3 (Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer Version 3) paket programı ile incelenmiştir. Ayrıca dünyada sıcaklık artışları konusunda yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda ortalama sıcaklığın, 2~40 C arasında artacağı tahmini göz önünde bulundurularak, bitki gelişme dönemlerinde 20 C ve 40 C sıcaklık artışları ile, 5 mm ve 10 mm yağış artışları, çevresel etmenlerinin bitki gelişiminde nasıl bir etki yapacağı da sınanmıştır.
