The aim of the work. To learn the structural organization of the wall of the small intestine, myocardium, and liver of experimental animals using different concentrations of κ-carrageenan. Materials and Methods. Experimental studies were conducted on 36 nonlinear white rats. The experimental animals had free access to 0.5 % and 1.0 % carrageenan solution in drinking water for 1 month. Results and Discussion. Histological examination of the wall of the small intestine of experimental animals receiving 0.5% solution of carrageenan, showed a pattern of moderately pronounced dystrophic changes in the epithelium of the mucous membrane and signs of the inflammatory process (lymphocyte-macrophage intoxication, deformation ...
