СТРУКТУРНО-ФУНКЦІОНАЛЬНІ ЗМІНИ ВНУТРІШНІХ ОРГАНІВ БІЛИХ ЩУРІВ ПРИ ЕКСПЕРИМЕНТАЛЬНОМУ ЗАСТОСУВАННІ РІЗНИХ ДОЗ КАРАГІНАНУ

The aim of the work. To learn the structural organization of the wall of the small intestine, myocardium, and liver of experimental animals using different concentrations of κ-carrageenan. Materials and Methods. Experimental studies were conducted on 36 nonlinear white rats. The experimental animals had free access to 0.5 % and 1.0 % carrageenan solution in drinking water for 1 month. Results and Discussion. Histological examination of the wall of the small intestine of experimental animals receiving 0.5% solution of carrageenan, showed a pattern of moderately pronounced dystrophic changes in the epithelium of the mucous membrane and signs of the inflammatory process (lymphocyte-macrophage intoxication, deformation of the villi of the small intestine, absence of basal membrane in some areas). At the optical microscopy pathological changes in the liver were minimal; the structure of the heart muscle in most rodents did not differ from intact animals. In the microscopic examination of the internal organs of the white rats receiving 1 % solution of carrageenan, in the epithelium of the mucous membrane of the small intestine there were signs of dystrophy: vacuolation of epitheliocytes, change in the tinctorial properties of their cytoplasm, sometimes lack of ciliated. In the liver, the beam structure of the organ was preserved. Moderately stromal edema was observed. In some places there were moderately pronounced alterative changes in hepatocytes, manifested by the development of small-sized fatty dystrophy. Changes in cardiac muscle in experimental animals were moderate. In some fields of view, the transverse banding of cardiomyocytes was not clearly defined. Moderate swelling, vascular full-blooded areas, and the presence of single red blood cells in perivasal areas were observed. There were also slight lymphocyte accumulations in some areas. Conclusions. Morphological studies have shown that administration of 0.5 % carrageenan to rats causes inflammatory changes in the small intestine, but does not lead to significant structural changes in the liver and heart. Damage to epitheliocytes and their dystrophy, disorganization of connective tissue elements of the submucosal layer of the small intestine with the use of 1 % carrageenan is accompanied by morphological changes in the liver and heart.Мета роботи. Вивчити структурну організацію стінки тонкої кишки, міокарда і печінки експериментальних тварин при застосуванні різних концентрацій κ-карагінану. Матеріали і методи. Дослідження проведено на 36 статевозрілих білих нелінійних щурах-самцях. Тваринам експериментальних груп забезпечили вільний доступ до 0,5 і 1,0 % розчину карагінану в питній воді протягом 1 місяця. Результати й обговорення. Результати гістологічного дослідження стінки тонкої кишки експерементальних тварин, які отримували 0,5 % розчин карагінану, продемонстрували картину помірно виражених дистрофічних змін епітелію слизової оболонки та ознаки запального процесу (лімфоцитарно-макрофагальна інтоксикація, деформація ворсинок тонкої кишки, відсутність базальної мембрани на деяких ділянках). На світлооптичному рівні мікроскопії патологічні зміни у печінці були мінімальними; будова серцевого м’яза у більшості щурів не відрізнялася від інтактних тварин. При мікроскопічному дослідженні внутрішніх органів білих щурів, які отримували 1 % розчин карагінану, в епітелії слизової оболонки тонкої кишки відмічали ознаки дистрофії: вакуолізацію епітеліоцитів, зміну тинкторіальних властивостей їх цитоплазми, місцями відсутність війчастої облямівки. У печінці балкова структура органа зберігалася. Спостерігали помірно виражений стромальний набряк. Подекуди мали місце помірно виражені альтеративні зміни гепатоцитів, що проявлялися розвитком дрібнокраплинної жирової дистрофії. Зміни серцевого м’яза в експерементальних тварин були виражені помірно. В деяких полях зору поперечна посмугованість кардіоміоцитів визначалася нечітко. Простежували помірно виражений набряк, місцями повнокров’я судин та наявність поодиноких еритроцитів у перивазальних ділянках. Також подекуди були незначні скупчення лімфоцитів. Висновки. Морфологічні дослідження показали, що введення щурам 0,5 % розчину карагінану зумовлює запальні зміни у тонкій кишці, проте не призводить до значних структурних змін у печінці й серці. Ушкодження епітеліоцитів та їх дистрофія, дезорганізація сполучнотканинних елементів підслизового шару тонкої кишки при застосуванні 1 % карагінану супроводжується морфологічними змінами у печінці й серці
