The aim of the undertaken research was to compare the assessment of the situation on the labour market by the surveyed people working in the UK and employed in the country in the context of the possibility of their professional functioning in the labour market and a sense of job loss. The issue of research undertaken put them in the mainstream of empirical research, which is why the diagnostic survey was a method of gathering knowledge about an interesting phenomenon. The research covered 399 people, including 200 Poles working in Great Britain and 199 people employed in the country.
