Evaluate the Effectiveness of Providing Credit to the Poor of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies

For more than 17 years of operation, the quality of service to the poor of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) has been continuously improved and shown certain effects on social life, especially on the poor, but limitations do exist, in terms of capital sources, loan duration, human resource training etc. Therefore, this study is designed to assess the program's contribution to improving the production and life of poor households. Research results from 800 questionnaires interviewing poor households and loan officers across Vietnam.
