Add to ORKGThis study examined the relationship between government spending and real and nominal agricultural sector activity in Nigeria between 1999 and 2016 using linear regression analysis and found that though government spending on agriculture had a positive relationship with the sector and its subsectors, this relationship was insignificant and recommended that government spending should be more accountable and should also not be seen as the sole option towards reviving this sector as other measures can be used in sync for optimal results.
