Injustice has No Place in Modern Society: The Ally Experience

This thesis focuses on the experiences of straight allies in a gay straight alliance. Straight allies are vital to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and queer community because they are able to use their privilege for activism and support. Four participants were involved with creating their own digital stories on their personal experiences as an ally. This involved the participants talking about why they were an ally and the experiences that come with it. The findings in the digital stories were belonging, acceptance, discrimination or injustice, and normality of everyday life
