Image of Lone Star quilt created in 1840-1850 by Mame Porgis. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Ruth Abegglen as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. After World Wart she married Joe Porgis who was brought to us as a German Prisoner of War They moved to Lynndyl, Utah in 1930 where Mr. Porgis worked for the railroad
