This is tape number 303 in the "Saving the Legacy" Oral History ProjectBaxter (b. 1920) grew up in Idaho and joined the Idaho National Guard at seventeen. He was released in 1942 and joined the army, where he volunteered for the Special Service Force. He served in Italy, France, and Norway. 29 pages
