Ainfoxd 3402 Oxford Xans £.nd, Unaiana 46615 9 July 1965 Dear Aunt Zilla and Uncle Ren, It was real good to get your letter yesterday with all the news on the Richards clan. I'm not sure I'll get used to think­ing of you two as being grandparents for a while, but I sure was glad to hear the news about Mary and Bob. So Mary is also getting the flying bug....I certainly envy both of them.....it is the only way to goJ And Paul taking the big step.....I still can't get used to that.,.,.he seemed to be really enjoying being able to take off to go mountainclimbing or skiing when he got the urge. I'd guess this gal Audrey must really be something special to get him to give up his freedom. As for Williard and Ren in pin-striped pants, please get some good pictures of it, or I'll never believe it! Speaking of Will, when is he ever going to take the big step? I never thought he would be the last one in your family to give up the fight! Maybe it's just that he finds playing the field so much fun. Damn....it looks as though I'm going to miss seeing you again! Next Friday Evening I take off with a friend for Cape Cod, where I will be until early in September. I was there for two weeks last summer and loved it,...I really felt that the water was good for me.(maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to go back!)....I get in and can walk around without my crutches, while here at home I'm in a wheelchair most of the time during the day. I'm staying with a couple I've known for years (I used to go with their daughter who passed away quite suddenly my last year in college), and they treat me like one of the family. The fellow I'm driving out with is their son-in-law, married to their crazy younger girl. I can almost taste the lobster now! Elaine and Sy are going to fly to Mexico City as soon as Sy is through at Illinois (some time in early August), so I guess you'll catch both of us out of here (you're really not driving us out of our homes....it just looks that way). One of these days I hope to drive out West to see all the folks I've not seen since marine corps dfys, but please forget about paying me back, and be Jpund 4455 Fifth Street. My car is air conditioned so that the feat doesn't get to me on a trip (but it sure plays havoc with gas mileagei), making such a trip possible. Have a wonderful trip....and get a good picture of the zoo.... I've got to see that
