HILL 4143 WESTMORELAND COURT RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA June 9,1952 Dear filial I have neglected writing you but 1 have thought of you often. I am very proud of this family I adopted. Mrs, Parker says that Joan said, "Mother, you just must go awayi end leave me so I ecu do the things Mary is doing." She is a real housekeeper* 1 have not slept there since willard came home Sriday. 1 y;as there for a moment this morning to use the telephone between school visits. Willard was at home. He looks fine. He met your mother at the rieoot yesterday as she came from Logan. I had a roast ready to take -Por fiooper' S dinner., we all enjoyed it together. Georgia ate at the table, one of the first times,I think. She has lost two pounds in the week your mother was away and she looks much frailer. Hooper helped Her walk, Her legs are so bent and twisted. it is terrible to see her. Aie is so sweet an/sd patient. She will not consent to having a nurse. She has the teleohone at her bedside find a neighbor who could, come on call. Hooper comes home at noon. He gives her shots Several times each 24 hours. I am very disappointed at the thought of missing you. It may be that we shall see you at Henry's. ;^;e leave here (L.'A...) at 10:00 A.M. on flight ffil4,June 13th. We leave N.I. 8$00 P.M. flight 964 June loth. We leave London 11:00 A.M. August 6th, arrive N.Y. 11:05 P.M. and stay overnight at Bellmont Plaza, Leave H.Y. August 7th S:0u P.M. Your mother will stay five days at Maurice's. 1 nrny come on home. You have had auch a wonderful experience. Keep some of it fresh in your mind until we meet. move to both of you, Ivy I meant to tell you that 1 took the liberty to ask willard to take us to the air port Friday morning. Armin would do it, out .. hate to nave him ask for time off when his church work required time rather often. 1 hone this is all right with you. I shall drive to Hooper1s again tomorrow and bring your mother here for the last two days before leaving. Georgia and the neighbor gave her B permanent so her hair looks nice.
