The Texaco Gasification Process has a long history of successful commercial operations making gas for use in chemical synthesis or as a clean fuel. The process can meet the most stringent environmental regulations when gasifying carbonaceous materials ranging from natural gas to coal and coal by-products. It is the leading second generation coal gasification process, and one plant, the Cool Water Plant in Daggett, California, was called the "world's cleanest coal plant."
