Doughboy War Memorial is Placed on Main Street

Representatives of the Capital Brass Foundry of Salt Lake City came to Vernal one week prior to Armistice Day to deliver and supervise the placing fo the bronze Doughboy and the brass plates with the names of 350 Uintah County war veterans. The old truck to the right is from the Vernal Milling and Light Company. The Uintah State Bank, Vernal Post Office and Vernal Drug Company is in the background
