Young men and women perform a dance at the Uintah Basin Industrial Convention. They could possibly be learning the traditional Ute Bear Dance. The Uintah Basin Industrial Convention began in Fort Duchesene in 1923 and still continues today. Representatives from universities and colleges around the state gave lectures on topics such as agriculture, livestock, poultry, irrigation development and home building. Entertainment, games and sports were enjoyed by the crowd. Craft, agriculture, buisness and Indian displays were available for people to look through
