J.A. Cheney holds a Jersey calf, which cost laid down in Vernal nearly $250, was selected from one of the best Jersey herds in Provo. He was selected by an expert of the Agricultural College at Logan. The Maeser Calf Club won the contest that was organized in the spring of 1923 by the Uintah State Bank to receive the prize calf.
