Vernal First and Fifth Ward Chapel was located at 300 West 100 North. Fund raisers, including a rodeo, were held to raise money for the construction of this LDS 1st Ward Chapel after the previous building burned down in March 1933. It later served two wards the 1st and the 5th wards of Vernal. It was taken down in 1977, a new chapel was built at 250 North and 200 West. The Ashley Valley Medical Center remodeled the hospital and is now taking the whole block
