Lithologic logs and correlation of coreholes P. R. Spring and Hill Creek oil-impregnated standstone deposits Uintah County, Utah

reportThis report of investigation presents the lithologic logs and correlation of 16 coreholes drilled in 1973 in the P. R. Spring and Hill Creek oil-impregnated sandstone deposits, southeast Uintah County, Utah. The program was conducted under Grant No. GO 122094 from the U. S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Mines. All coring was done from June through August 1973. P. R. Peterson, consulting geologist, Salt Lake City, Utah supervised all coring operations in the field, and all lithologic logs and correlations are by Peterson. A detailed description of the program and extensive analytical information was presented in: Peterson and Ritzma, Informational Core Drilling in Utah's Oil-Impregnated Sandstone Deposits, Southeast Uinta Basin, Uintah County, Utah, Utah Geological and Mineral Survey Report of Investigation No. 88, February 1974.
