Wolfe, M.D., associate professor of emergency medicine at the University of Utah medical school, and Karen Tesch, R.N., a nurse in University Hospital's Emergency Department, have been named Utah Emergency Physician and Nurse of the Year by the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week Awards Committee. In addition, David Fluckiger, a Davis County Sheriff's deputy and parttime paramedic for University Hospital's AirMed air ambulance service, has been named Utah Paramedic of the Year
