The treatment of brain tumors depends on the location of the tumor, its histopathology, and the clinical setting. In the chapters that follow, therapeutic options for each of the tumor types are discussed. Here, we provide a general overview of the main therapies used in the treatment of brain tumors, highlighting some of the technical advances. Physicians are encouraged to enroll their patients with brain tumors into investigative brain tumor protocols
