Simple anisocoria is said to decrease in bright light. We determined the prevalence of simple anisocoria under different light conditions. We prospectively measured the pupil size of 104 healthy subjects with infrared videography at four clinically accessible light levels using a transilluminator light: darkness; darkness with an extra light shining from below; room light; and room light with the extra light shining from below
