The management of idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) remains controversial. The Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension Treatment Trial (IIHTT) is investigating medical intervention (weight loss +/- acetazolamide) for newlydiagnosed IIH patients with baseline mean deviation (MD) between -2 dB -7.00 dB on automated perimetry with Humphrey Field Analyzer (HFA).
