Presenting Symptom: Retinal telangiectasis. Pathology: Retinal opacity. Clinical: In addition to manifestations of retinal arteriolosclerosis (tortuosity, plaques), this slide shows opacification of a choroidal artery below the disc. This is presumed evidence of arteriosclerosis. The patient was a 49-year old female with hypertension (BP 240/140) and hypercholesteremia (420 mg%). She had no ocular symptoms.
