Abstract

Mining Utah iron ore is accomplished with power shovels in the Iron County mine areas. This iron ore is more than 45 per cent pure iron and will be shipped to smelters in central Utah and Pueblo, Colo. And later converted into steel at Utah's Geneva Steel Mills near Provo, Utah
