Built in 1905, Newhouse contained 86 houses, 2 boarcing houses (housing 125 men), a club house, opera house, library, hotel, drug store and hospital. The Catcus mine stopped producing five years after the settlement of Newhouse and the town slowly died. Many of the buildings were moved to Milford, Utah
