This old photo of Rio Grande locomotive #225 was taken many years ago (1880s?) at an unknown location. This is a sister engine to No. 223 which has been on display in Salt Lake City since it was given to the city by the railroad in 1940. Both of these locomotives were built by the Grant Locomotive Works. #225 appears to be in its original configuration which differs markedly from the 223 today
