Bu çalışmanın bir bölümü, milimetrik dalga (mmDalga) anahtarlamalı hüzme tabanlı ağlarda orantılı adil hüzme tahsisi problemini ele almaktadır. mmDalga bandında çalışmak Baz İstasyonunda (Bİ) çok sayıda anten elemanı kullanmayı kolaylaştırır. Büyük anten dizilerinde hüzmelemenin kullanılması, alıcılarda yüksek yönlendirilebilirlik ve artmış Sinyalin Gürültü-Girişim Toplamına Oranı (SINR) sağlar. Bu doğrultuda kullanıcılara adil hız tahsisi için çoklu zaman aralıklarında akıllı hüzme tahsisi gereklidir. Birden fazla hüzmenin aynı anda etkinleştirilmesi, hüzmeler arası girişimi hesaba katan bir algoritmayı gerektirir.
