This data set includes the results of the paper “Potential Analysis of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems for Self-Sufficient Residential Use in Germany and the Czech Republic” (https://doi.org/10.3390/en12214185). The 14 maps in NetCDF format correspond to three different types of results: 1. Hourly, daily and monthly correlations of solar and wind resources (“cor_solar_wind_h.nc”, “cor_solar_wind_d.nc”, “cor_solar_wind_m.nc”) as well as the correlation of photovoltaic and wind power (“cor_wp_pv_h.nc”, “cor_wp_pv_d.nc”, “cor_wp_pv_m.nc”) per COSMO-REA6 grid point for Germany and the Czech Republic. 2.
