Amaç: El hijyeni sağlık hizmeti sırasında temasla geçen infeksiyonları engelleme yöntemidir ve bu infeksiyonların insidansını azaltır. Bu çalışmamızda hastanemizdeki sağlık çalışanlarında el hijyeni uygulamalarının ve bilgi düzeylerinin ölçülmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışmaya 75’i doctor, 75’i de hemşire olmak üzere 150 sağlık çalışanı dahil edilmiştir. Bir anket uygulanarak sağlık çalışanlarının bilgi düzeyleri ve pratik uygulamalrı değerlendirildi. Sonuçlar: Her iki grubun da bilgi düzeyleri yeterli değildi ve karşılaştırıldığında aralarında genellikle bir fark yoktu.
