Last eartquakes indicate that, many existing structures in Turkey do not have sufficent seismic safety. Workings began to determine the building’ seismic safety. It’s practically impossible to examine all buildings by detailed structural analysis. So, it’s necessary to determine the seismic safety of buildings with a quick evaluation method. It’s inevitable to utilize a quick evaluation method for deciding which buildings need further detailed structural analysis, and which buildings can be used with their existing seismic safety levels.
