With the rise of automation in manufacturing, more tasks are being solved using machines and robots. A problem in manufacturing that benefits from automation is the storage and retrieval of goods from shelves. To meet the demands of their customers, many manufacturers have to find solutions to maximize their inventory space while still being able to deliver fast, reliable, and accurate item fulfillment and delivery. Smaller companies may not be able to afford many of the AS/RS systems that are currently out on the market but they may still require a system that will help streamline their storage and inventory operations.
