International audience<p>Abstract—In modulated backscattering based RFID systems, the"antenna mode" signal received by the reader from the tag canbe strongly masked by that originating from the environment(clutter). Although differential detection and appropriate codingmay mitigate this problem, it is important to quantitativelyevaluate the respective magnitude of both signals. In that workthis has been done for a UWB RFID system, intended to operatein the 3-5 GHz band.
