Reproduction of social inequality and its intergenerational transmission mechanism, based on the perspectives of human capital and social capital

In the process of social development, lower intergenerational income mobility indicates that the upward channel for a low-income familys children is not smooth, which will cause the income inequality of fathers to be passed to the offspring. Society has fallen into a vicious circle in which the poor are getting poorer, and the rich are getting richer. In recent years, the phenomenon of “poor second generation” and “rich second generation” has become fierce. The discourse about social equity has attracted more attention. This shows that current intergenerational mobility of urban and rural residents in China has declined, so what is the reason for the decline? What is the trend? What are behind the mechanisms of this decline?
