Aims: The objective of this study was to compare qualitatively and quantitatively the results of identification of the bacteria present in milk samples from cows with subclinical mastitis using multiplex qPCR assay and matrix-assisted laser desorption-ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS (R)) after bacteriological growth.
