During the PhD course my research projects focused mainly on the effectiveness, safety and optimisation of contrast agents in computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), subdivided into different studies. This doctoral thesis aims at explore the possible optimisation of contrast medium administration protocols in different clinical contexts. In the first section of my thesis, we proposed two studies focused on the optimisation of the practice of iodinated contrast medium (ICM) injection in CT.
