The dynamics of knowledge processes represents a major research topic in management studies. The interpretation of the different tools and methods as enablers for knowledge creation has important implications for achieving innovation, namely in lean product development contexts. Previous researchers have classified the different tools and methods in lean product development using the Socialization–Externalization–Combination–Internalization (SECI) theoretical framework for knowledge management.
