Reception building, Crematorium. Heimolen Cemetery, St. Niklaas, Belgium

[EN] Heimolen cemetery is bordered by the motorway from Antwerp to Ghent, the Nieuwe Steenweg road and the Waasmunsterse Steenweg road. The site is crossed by a number of large high-voltage pylons. Tall trees and steep gradients enclose the cemetery on three sides, whereby the location is all but invisible from the motorway. This makes this an unobtrusive location that merges with a rural environment characterised predominately by greenery.[ES] El cementerio Heimolen está situado entre la autopista de Amberes a Gante, el camino Nieuwe Steenweg y el camino Waasmunsterse Steenweg. Por el emplazamiento cruza una linea de alta tensión de postes de gran altura. Altos árboles y pendientes escarpados rodean el cementerio por tres lados, por lo que se hace casi invisible desde la autopista.
