RECICLE AND POINT: a dynamic artistic proposal with multiple development in the classrooms and of ephemeral application in the public space

Accesible en: https://doi.org/10.4995/aniav.2018.9118[EN] It is a challenge to introduce students of the first year of the Fine Arts Degree (Teruel Campus - University of Zaragoza) into contemporary artistic dynamics, as is the preparation of those who are in the third and fourth year of the professional world. RECYCLE AND POINT is a teaching activity that relates to the first, third and fourth year students in order to develop the aforementioned competences. This artistic proposal ends up appearing in the public space, providing the students with a real experience, outside the context of the classrooms, in direct relation with the citizens. Participants: the students of the subjects of Volume I (first course) and Design and Management of the Exhibition Space (third and fourth year). Objective in its real application towards the citizenship: to stimulate the recycling. First-year students will reproduce in plaster plastic bottles, soda cans and glass jars of various sizes. They will then work their surface and include the phrase RECYCLE AND POINT in them. On the other hand, the third and fourth year students will be in charge of curating, managing and coordinating the start up of the activity. The pieces will be exposed in the Plaza del Torico and people approaching the place can take one of them giving two recyclable objects. The instruments that are applied are: proposal of the exercise, continuous observation and follow-up of the preparatory practices during lectures and specific tutorials, real application, feedback, critical reflection and sharing of the results obtained and of the lived experiences. This initiative is carried out for the first time in the academic year 2016-17: I will explain the project design, some of the results and a critical review of them.[ES] Es un reto introducir a los estudiantes de primer curso del Grado de Bellas Artes (Campus de Teruel — Universidad de Zaragoza) en dinámicas artísticas contemporáneas, así como lo es la preparación de quienes se encuentran en tercer y cuarto año de cara al mundo profesional. RECICLO Y PUNTO es una actividad docente que pone en relación a los alumnos de primer, tercer y cuarto curso con el fin de desarrollar las competencias antes mencionadas. Esta propuesta de carácter artístico termina presentándose en el espacio público, proporcionando a los estudiantes una experiencia real, fuera del contexto de las aulas, en relación directa con la ciudadanía. Participan: los estudiantes de las asignaturas de Volumen I (primer curso) y de Diseño y Gestión del Espacio Expositivo (tercer y cuarto curso). Objetivo en su aplicación real de cara a la ciudadanía: estimular el reciclaje. Los estudiantes de primer curso reproducirán en escayola botellas de plástico, latas de refresco y botes de cristal de distintos tamaños. Después trabajarán su superficie e incluirán la frase RECICLO Y PUNTO en ellos. Por otra parte, los estudiantes de tercer y cuarto curso se encargarán de comisariar, gestionar y coordinar la puesta en marcha de la actividad. Las piezas elaboradas se expondrán en la Plaza del Torico y las personas que se aproximen al lugar podrán llevarse una de ellas dando a cambio dos objetos reciclables. Los instrumentos que se aplican son: propuesta del ejercicio, observación continua y seguimiento de las prácticas preparatorias durante clases lectivas y tutorías específicas, aplicación real, feedback, reflexión crítica y puesta en común de los resultados obtenidos y de las experiencias vividas. Esta iniciativa se realiza por primera vez en el curso académico 2016-17: expondré el diseño del proyecto, algunos de los resultados y una revisión crítica de los mismos.Garriga-Inarejos, R. (2017).
