[EN] This paper presents and analyzes an artistic project conducted by both authors during a residence in Yucatán, Mexico, 2016. The project, entitled Portrait' in' 25.'Mapping'Memories' between' Tunkás' and' Izamal is driven by the need to know and explore different places through personal experiences, to discover micropolitical sources and analyze the artist's involvement as an external agent in an 'unknown' local context. Through this work we find a chance to participate in a different context and convey the meaning of the set of rules that frame their memory, cultural identity and common spaces.
