New Typologies in the Study of Contemporary Graphic-Design Practices

[EN] Emerging practices within graphic design are defined as a set of projects which are starting up within the field of graphic design and which, given their characteristics, cannot be classified into any of its specialist fields. This professional framework offers a different perspective in the way of understanding the profession, as designers themselves are actively faced with these changes. As a result, design as a practice has changed in meaning and the limits of the discipline have been displaced.[ES] Las prácticas emergentes dentro del diseño gráfico se definen como un conjunto de proyectos que se están iniciando dentro del ámbito del diseño gráfico y que, debido a sus características, no pueden ser clasificados en ninguna de sus especialidades. Este marco profesional nos aporta una visión diferente en la forma de entender la profesión, ya que es el diseñador desde su propia autonomía el que se sitúa de una forma activa frente a estos cambios.
