Effect of the inlet geometry on performance, surge margin and noise emission of an automotive turbocharger compressor

[EN] This work presents an experimental setup, in engine test bench, based on the study of the surge limit line in a common automotive engine centrifugal compressor. The engine admission line is modified imposing three different geometries designed to observe the impact on the limit of surge margin. The results show the permeability of the margin in both steady and transient state condition.[ES] Este trabajo recoge el estudio sobre la influencia de la geometría de entrada de un compresor centrífugo sobre su línea de bombeo, su rendimiento y la emisión de ruido. De acuerdo a ciertas restricciones se eligen tres geometrías básicas junto con algunas variaciones de las mismas, se realizan los ensayos experimentales, se tratan los datos obtenidos y se debate sobre las conclusiones que se extraen.Tarí De Paco, D.
