[EN] Nowadays, the regulation of pollutant emissions of reciprocating internal combustion engines becomes more and more restrictive. One of the main strategies to reduce those emissions is the reduction of engine volume (downsizing) maintaining the same specific power by means of turbocharging. This master thesis contributes to turbochargers heat transfer phenomena study using two approaches: experimentation and 1D modeling. For the first approach, tests in both gas stand and engine test bench have been performed.
