Presentation slidesHow can we better support the research and teaching needs of Indigenous communities in Hawaiʻi? This panel presents findings from a recently published study that examined the professional activities of Hawaiian Studies and Hawaiian Language scholars from across the UH System. Panelists will share stories about building relationships with and learning from Indigenous scholars, along with insights about how staff at all levels in libraries, archives, museums, and special collections can design locally responsive services and tools in ways that are reflective of Indigenous perspectives and practices
