Taking into account high oil prices and environmental awareness, the development of electric vehicles (EVs) is considered as a healthier mode of transportation. Amongst other eco-friendly vehicles, EVs are considered as a favourable solution for a greener energy because the electricity they consume can be generated from a wide range of sources which include fossil fuel, nuclear power and renewable energy.
