International audienceThis article aims to interrogate the relationship to territory constructed by certain television programmes —not geography or tourism-related programmes, but rather those devoted to heritage. The second aim of the article is thus to put forward the subject of heritage as a means of knowing territories. What do the programmes show? Is it for pedagogical ends? What perspective do these programmes bring to bear on French territory and its transformations?
