Aim: The aim of this study was to measure the current impact of the postpartum perineum physiotherapy, between 1982 and 1996, on urinary incontinence and prolapses.Tools and methods: The studied population was recruited through the Postnatal Care Service of the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital as well as through friends and acquaintances. 92 women met the criteria and answered anonymously to the MHU, Contilife, PDFI-20 and PFIQ-7 questionnaires. Results: If women who underwent physiotherapy had better scores, with 3 to 30% improvement, there were no statistical differences (p-values between 0.063 and 0.733).
