The 2007 Australian National Children’s Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey (Children’s Survey) was commissioned by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, and the Australian Food and Grocery Council. State Health Departments were invited to participate, and SA Health sponsored a booster sample of South Australian participants. Households were randomly selected from around the state, and children and adolescents were interviewed between February and August 2007.
