Five of the women are wearing carnation corsages, and the girl in the middle is holding a bouquet of flowers, indicating that she is the campus queen. The girl to the left of her is holding a purse in her hand. The convertible has leather seats. On the back of the image is written a variety of notes. There is a stamp that reads, Office of Public Relations, Bethune Cookman College, Daytona Beach, Fla. There is also a stamp that reads Job 8990. A piece of paper taped to the back reads Homecoming queen and attendants during pig skin time. There is also a note written in black pencil that says Negro 4 col cut to LRD on City Desk.
