Affirmative Action is a set of policies adopted by universities to establish equal opportunity and close the enrollment gaps. Affirmative Action is a hot topic in recent decades. Critics of Affirmative Action think that the policy is no longer needed to even out the playing field while advocates for Affirmative Action think it is needed to close the enrollment gap and correct past racial discrimination and injustice. This research surveys attitudes of Winona State students on Affirmative Action, and if they agree with the anti-discriminatory policy or if they reject Affirmative Action.
