The text approaches the thematic of visual alphabetization applied to the learning of photography. The article considers the relevance of the term and the confusions in its application. From this first explanation the author approaches the topic of the importance of visual training in the contemporary society, and analyzes its insertion within the Degree in Photography of the Faculty of Design and Communication.
