Purpose/Objective(s): Brain metastases are the most common intracranial tumor, affecting up to 40% of all patients with cancer. More than half of these cases are lung cancer metastases. While targeted systemic therapies continue to advance, the primary modalities of treatment for brain metastases are surgery and/or whole brain radiation therapy (WBRT) or stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). Radiation treatment utilization patterns in this group of patients have not been well elucidated.
